Dogs and cats need the companionship of people. Even if public and private shelters could afford to house and feed these animals through there lifetimes, making them stay in cages day in and day out with only occasional human contact is stressful and cruel. It can even cause nervous disorder and other illnesses. We are working to bring the pet population under control so that each animal might have a responsible home. But for the Unwanted animals in our care now, a peaceful death is the kindest way we have to end thier loneliness and suffering. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
